Ever heard the theory that women lack the intrinsic aptitude to become a scientist? Well, I'm here to tell you that simply is not so. On the contrary, there are many pioneering women scientists who deliver miracle medicines all in a day's work. They are luminaries in a man's pharmaceutical world, but they thrive and make a difference, and you can too!

Scientific Pioneering

You may be thinking to yourself that becoming a scientist involves a grueling educational background in biology, chemistry, medicine, and health-related courses, as well as years of schooling. And while it certainly may be said that the path to attaining your bachelor's, masters, or Ph.D. won't be easy, the lifelong opportunities and possibilities can be amazing.

That said, now is the time to take your determination and your enjoyment of science and put it to good use. Whether you decide to use your skills in the lab, in the office, in the classroom, or out in the field, magnificent scientific careers await you. The only lesson you have to learn is to "never say never." Once you get started, you'll not only never look back, but you'll also never understand why you didn't take the leap of scientific faith sooner.

Pharmaceutical Business Explained

If you're like most people, when you think of the pharmaceutical business you probably think of sales representatives. But once you learn about the research that scientists conduct to create new medicines, how the U.S. and other countries interpret requirements for registering and maintaining drug programs, or how philanthropic activities can enhance and improve underserved populations, your perception just might change. And when that happens, you can understand why so many more women like you are deciding on a career as a pharmaceutical scientist.

So go ahead and get started on your career as a scientist today. Your passion and desire for the pharmaceutical industry can help fight terrible diseases, ensure the safety of our medicine through drug quality programs, help teach our youth and future scientists, improve people's health and well-being, and ultimately, offer you the enjoyment of a rewarding career with benefits that last a lifetime.
